Emirates becomes global partner of Formula One

From next season, Emirates Airlines is a Global Partner of Formula One after reaching a five-year deal.

During a joint press conference held in Dubai, President of the Dubai Aviation Organization (owner of Emirates Airlines), Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president and group executive Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone, the airline reported UAE becomes global partner of motor racing.

Ecclestone welcomed Emirates and announced that customers of this airline will see Formula One races live during the flight.

With this agreement, Emirates Airlines will be present in 15 races on the calendar in Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America.

«This is a fantastic opportunity to join two global brands worldwide. Ambition, the latest generation technology standards and global reach Formula One go hand in hand with the vision and ambition of Emirates, «said Al Maktoum.

As part of the global partnership agreement with the Formula 1 brand presence will be visible on the bridges and the corresponding ground devices circuits.
