The U.S. airline JetBlue, which just opened its sixth link in the Dominican Republic, has risen 10% in passenger traffic in the first ten months of the year, reaching 28 million, versus 25.4 million in the same period of 2011 .
Regarding capacity (number of available seat kilometers) increased by 7.8%, from 30.8 to 33.2 million as of October 2012.
According to Europa Press publishes, from January to October, the load factor increased 1.8 percentage points, reaching 84.4%, from 82.6% in the same period last year.
In October, passenger traffic increased by 1%, while capacity remained virtually unchanged over 3 million. The load factor in the month rose 0.8 percentage points from 83.5% to 84.3%.
