Marriott International placed the first stone of his hotel in Port au Prince, Haiti

With the presence of the Minister of Tourism of Haiti, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, executives of the hotel chain Marriott International has laid the first stone of a proposed 174-room hotel of international standard on the outskirts of the Haitian capital.
The hotel will employ 207 permanent officials and employees, including 194 Haitians and 13 foreigners. The implementation phase of the construction and operation of the hotel, will lead to the creation of over a thousand jobs directly and indirectly.
The building codes and standards of international regulations will be scrupulously monitored.
The hotel building and proposed developments will be carried out in different parts in concrete and metal, forming a harmonious and safe building, according to the specifications prescribed by Marriott International Hotels. «
